So, what do you really want? 🤔 ⁉️
Subtle or not so subtle nudges to get your shit together on who you want to be next.... 💘
I’ve been putting on some career makeover bootcamps for those who wanna rise up in their career or change jobs, they wanna see change. And the one thing that I think is pretty evident is we don’t know how to ask what we want and how do we know how to ask what we want?
We have to get clear with what we want and who we wanna be, not what we were yesterday and not what we are even today, but who do we wanna be tomorrow? And being able to put your best foot forward, be able to script that out and write it up and share to the world, Hey world, this is me.
This is who I wanna be and this is what I want. Yeah. And not be afraid to ask for it. To be able to say “I want it!”
Crafting a clear vision of your aspirations is the initial step towards transforming your career trajectory.
It's about defining that future self you aspire to become and outlining the path to get there. Asking for what you desire and articulating your goals boldly is key. It's time to step into your aspirations and claim them fearlessly. Let's dive deeper into this journey of self-empowerment and goal setting to manifest the career you truly desire.
Goal setting is the cornerstone of transforming aspirations into reality.
When it comes to your career, having a clear set of objectives can serve as a roadmap guiding your actions and decisions. Start by outlining your long-term career aspirations, then break them down into smaller, achievable milestones. These milestones act as stepping stones, providing a clear trajectory towards your ultimate goal.
Moreover, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals enhances accountability and provides a framework for tracking progress. Visualizing your desired career path enables you to align your actions with your ambitions. It's not just about dreaming but actively strategizing and working towards those dreams.
Additionally, staying adaptable and flexible in your approach is crucial. The professional landscape evolves, and being open to learning, adapting, and even reassessing your goals ensures that you remain on the right track.
Most importantly, foster a mindset that embraces challenges as opportunities for growth. Each setback or obstacle encountered can be reframed as a chance to learn, pivot, and move closer to your envisioned career destination.
I have a few tools that can be an effective catalyst to foster the right mindset, envision the career destination, build the roadmap, and achieve your career results.
